Abstract

The research was made based on the work motivation of employees at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Sragen. Work motivation is a desire that comes from each individual to carry out an activity in order to achieve a predetermined goal. Because there are many employees who experience few obstacles related to decreased morale, lack of job satisfaction, no demand for ability development, and lack of responsibility from employees, the researchers were interested in conducting this research. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the work environment and organizational culture on the work motivation of employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Sragen. The data collection method used is the work motivation scale, work environment scale, and organizational culture scale. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression test. The results showed that there was a relations between the work environment and organizational culture on the work motivation of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) with a significant correlation. Coefficient (r) = 0.735 and coefficient value (F) = 19.367 with Sig 0.000 < 0.05. There is a relationship between work environment and work motivation as indicated by the correlation coefficient (r) = 0.714 with Sig (1-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. And there is a relationship between organizational culture and work motivation which can be seen from the acquisition of the correlation value (r) = 0.297 with Sig (1-tailed) 0.039 < 0.05. Then, the effective contribution of the relationship between the work environment and organizational culture to work motivation is R2 = 0.540 or 54% with a conformity level of 5.19% for organizational culture, 48, 76% for work environment, and 46.05% influenced by other variables. This shows that the higher the work environment and organizational culture in a company, the higher the work motivation of the employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Sragen.
