Abstract

This study aims to find out how the efforts of Civics teachers in overcoming the problem of bullying at SMAN 1 Wirosari in 2022. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research data was obtained by using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation techniques and also triangulation of data sources obtained from research subjects. The subjects in this study were the Deputy Principal, PPKn Teachers, Counseling Teachers, and 6 students of SMA Negeri 1 Wirosari. Based on the results of research and discussion, the forms of bullying that occur in SMA Negeri 1 Wirosari are verbal bullying, physical bullying, mental bullying, and cyberbullying. The efforts of PPKn teachers are to become educators, mentors, advisors, supervisors, role models, motivators, and also attitude assessors. The obstacles experienced by Civics teachers are the development of science and technology that is not supported by the ability to filter information, student associations, parents who are less cooperative, the ability of Civics teachers to supervise, introverted students, and also the teacher's ability to control students' social media. the solution given is to coordinate with all teachers, BK teachers, approach students, and also raid cellphones.
