Abstract

This study aims to describe: The effect of internet use and pedagogic ability on teachers. This research type and design uses quantitative research and a census design approach. The data used in this study is a population study. The population in this study were 68 teachers. The equation of the results of the regression analysis Y = 27.280 + 0.303 (Internet use) + 0.467 (Pedagogic Ability) . The results of the regression analysis obtained an equation showing that teacher performance is influenced by internet use and pedagogical abilities. The results of this study indicate that internet use and pedagogical abilities have a significant effect on teacher performance, indicated by the value of tcount x1 3.140, tcount x2 4,877 > ttable x1 1,997, ttable x2 1,997. Internet use with a significance value of <0.05, namely 0.003 with a relative contribution of 36.5% and an effective contribution of 20.05% and pedagogical ability with a significance value of <0.05, namely 0.00 with a relative contribution of 63.5% and a contribution of effective 34.78%. Internet use and pedagogic ability affect teacher performance. It can be seen from the results of the F test that fcount > ftable, which is 39.427 > 3.14 and a significance value of <0.05, which is 0.003. With the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.534, it shows that the magnitude of the influence of internet use and pedagogic ability on teacher performance is 53.4%, while the remaining 46.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
