Abstract

This study aims to determine whether knowledge, skills, work motivation and work stress affect the performance of employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia. This research is a quantitative research with a sample of 120 employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out by Structural Equation Model (SEM) based Partial Least Square using SmartPLS to test the inner and outer models. The findings show that (1) there is a positive and significant influence of knowledge on the performance of employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia which can be seen from the knowledge beta coefficient on employee performance is 0.423 and the t-statistic is 4.152 and shows that the t-statistic is significant because > 1.96 with p value <0.05 so the first hypothesis is accepted which proves that Knowledge affects the performance of employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia, (2) there is a positive and significant influence of skills on the performance of employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia which can be seen from the beta coefficient of skills on the performance of employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia is 0.314 and the t-statistic is 2.180 and shows a significant t-statistic because >1.96 with p value <0.05, thus proving that skills affect the performance of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia, (3) there is a positive and significant effect of work motivation on the performance of employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia which can be seen from the beta coefficient of work motivation on the performance of employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia is 0.257 and the t-statistic is 3.962 and shows a significant t-statistic because <1.96 with p-value <0.05 thus proving that work motivation affects the performance of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia, (4) there is a positive and significant effect of work stress on the performance of employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia which can be seen from the beta coefficient of work stress on the performance of employees of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia is 0.481 and the t-statistic is 2.193 and the t-statistic is significant because >1.96 with p-value <0.05 thus proving that work stress affects the performance of PT. Wilmar Padi Indonesia.
