Abstract
This study aims to describe the improvement of school discipline in class VII students which was carried out at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Collecting data using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of research data come from sources, events, and document review. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that the efforts made by BK teachers and parents in improving school discipline, among others, were by providing direction and consequences to students who violated discipline, conducting socialization to parents and teachers to always pay attention to children so that they were able to maintain discipline, socializing to parents and teachers. students to be able to remind each other about discipline, and guidance and counseling teachers become role models by reflecting a disciplined attitude in obeying school rules to students. the child has done what is the goal. Discipline that is exemplified by parents in children is like getting up early so as not to be late for prayer, going to school on time, and doing homework or assignments given by the teacher.
