Abstract

Covid-19 causes learning tobe shifted to online. This makes students and teachers have to adapt to the use of digital technology. This is certainly a real obstacle in terms of understanding learning and learning interactions that affect the daily assesment of teachers. The purpose of this study was to describe and identify the learning process, the effectiveness of learning as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors for distance learning in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen. This type of researce includes field research because the data is taken from schools and also includes qualitative research because the data obtained are inthe form of words. Then this study uses a phenomenological approach with the research subjects being vice principals of the curriculum, subject teachers and students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen. Data collection method using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The validity of this research data using triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that distance learning at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen is not effective because of the incompatibility of lesson plans with learning practices, boring learning implementation, no interaction between teachers and students and difficulties in taking grades. This distance learning is carried out asynchronously, which means that learning does not use video conferencing at all. Then the supporting factor for distance learning is the collaboration between teachers during learning activities and the facilities provided by the school. The inhibiting factors are 1. The absence of examples from teachers 2. Collection of assignments 3. Lack of variety in material delivery 4. Internet network disturbances 5. Limited IT knowledge 6. Difficulty giving assesments.
