Abstract

Character is very important and basic. Character is a living mustika that distinguishes humans from animals. A man without character is a man who has "raised" People of strong character and both individually and socially are those who have good morals, morals, and ethics. Given the importance of character, educational institutions have a responsibility to instill it through the learning process. Researchers examined about the Process of Discipline Character Education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah 07 Nawangan Pacitan with the formulation of the problem How is the process of education character discipline of students in Mts Muhammadiyah 07 Nawangan?, What are the supporting factors and obstacles in the application of student discipline character education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah 07 Nawangan?. Researchers aim to describe the impact of student discipline character education at Mts Muhammadiyah 07 Nawangan and to identify supporting factors and obstacles in student discipline character education at Mts Muhammadiyah 07 Nawangan. Researchers used a qualitative research approach of field studies at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammmadiyah 07 Nawangan Pacitan. Data collection techniques through Observation, Interview, and Documentation from various parties in the school. Research analysis using deductive methods that begins with theory and ends with a phenomenon or special thing. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, the researcher concluded by carrying out habituation activities to form the character of student discipline in addition to reading short verses before learning began praying duha jamaah, praying zduhur bejamaah and reading the Quran. Whilein terms of student behavior is also taught in terms of manners towards teachers and friends, respecting and respecting others, telling the truth and not lying, speaking politely and not rudely, not mocking or insulting fellow friends, throwing garbage in its place, maintaining class cleanliness by doing daily hygiene pickets in turns, wearing uniforms in an orderly manner, Looking well-mannered, it is not too late when leaving at the madrasah.
