Abstract
UKM Rambak Nawan is one of the food industries whose production still applies a manual material handling (MMH) work system whose work is carried out continuously (repetitively). Production activities at the Rambak UKM consist of making dough, pouring dough, steaming, releasing dough, cooling, cutting, and drying. The purpose of this research is to identify and provide an assessment of the work posture of employees who perform MMH activities to minimize the risk of MSDs. The method used in this research is the ERIN (Evaluacion Del Riesgo Individual) and RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) methods to determine the level of ergonomic risk that occurs in work activities. This study performs data processing on 6 work activities wherein the ERIN calculation there are 3 activities in the very hard risk level category so improvements are needed right away. Then it was strengthened again from the results of the RULA calculation from 6 activities, all of which were included in the very high-risk level category. From the results of data processing, it can be concluded that from the 6 activities, 3 activities need to be corrected at the same time, namely the activity of taking dough from the bucket, pouring the dough into the tin, and putting the cooked dough on the tray, by adding additional tools or equipment. change job position. Workplace repairs can be simulated using SolidWorks, CATIA software, and anthropometric data. From the results of the repair simulation, ERIN and RULA scores were calculated so that it was found that the repair simulation could reduce the work posture load.
