Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Profitability and Dividend Policy on Firm Value. This research is included in quantitative research. To obtain data from these variables, it is taken from the financial statements of financial services companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018- 2020. The population of this study are all financial services companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The samples collected in this study were 10 financial services companies. The sample selection technique is using the Purposive Sampling Technique from 43 financial services companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, 10 companies are obtained that meet the criteria to be used as samples. The data used is secondary data where the data is obtained from the company's financial statements for the period of the year available on the IDX's official website, namely www.idx.co.id. IBM SPSS 26 Statistics is used in research as an analytical tool. The results of this study indicate that (1) Profitability has a significant effect on firm value. (2) Dividend policy has a significant effect on firm value.
