Abstract

High economic growth can be seen from the sustainability of existing development in a region. Economic growth has economic and non-economic factors. In this study, the factors to be discussed are population, labor, education level, and dependency ratio. This study aims to determine the rate of development of economic growth in East Java Province and determine the effect of population, workforce, education level, and dependency ratio from 2017-2019. This research method uses panel data regression analysis. The data used is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency. This study concludes that the variables of labor and education level each have a positive and negative and significant impact on economic growth. While the population and dependency ratio each have a negative and positive and not significant effect on economic growth.
