Abstract

Parigi Moutong Regency has various possible tourist attractions and becomes an attraction for tourists who come and visit this region. Some of the problems are that tourism promotion is not optimal and there is limited information about the data on the distribution of coastal tourism objects and also in the manual presentation, an online informative map is needed. This study "Displaying Information on Beach Tourism Objects in Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province in 2021 Based on ArcGis Online WebGis using Story Maps" aims to: (1) determine the potential of internal and external beach tourism objects in Parigi Moutong Regency (2) create a Geographic Information System ( GIS) ArcGis Online WebGis uses Story Maps in presenting information on beach tourism objects in Parigi Moutong Regency to make it more interactive. This research method is a field survey by means of a census. The analysis method uses scoring analysis to determine the internal, external and combined potential of tourism objects and descriptive analysis. The results of the research on the potential of coastal tourism objects in Parigi Moutong Regency are based on a field survey by giving a score that shows the classification of high and medium potential. The results of the scoring of the Cat Beach and Kayu Bura Beach tourism objects are included in the high potential class, Nalera Beach and Bamba Beach are included in the medium potential class, then the results are made online map creation based on WebGIS in the form of Story Maps application. Making WebGIS information on coastal tourism objects produces interactive maps regarding internal potential, external potential,combinations, and location maps then embedded into one WebGIS Story Maps display "Tell a Story beach attraction in Parigi Moutong Regency by Wahyu Aji Pangestu" can be viewed by accessing the address https://arcg.is/1e11PO0 This webGIS is expected to be an attractive and effective medium for presenting tourism information.
