Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Village Fund on the Village Building Index and the Level of Community Welfare in Kerjo Subdistrict, Karanganyar Regency in 2016-2020. The analytical tool used is panel data analysis with two econometric models in 10 villages/kelurahan in Kerjo District. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of panel data, which is a combination of time series data and cross section data. The data are in the form of Village Funds, the Village Building Index (IDM) and the level of prosperous families. Data were obtained from the village information system (Kemendesa), IDM (Development Village Index), the Village and Community Empowerment Service (DISPERMADES), and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results of the two models show that the Village Fund has no effect on village independence, while the second econometric model, namely the Village Fund and the level of community welfare, has a positive influence.
