Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the decision making of students who buy local shoe brands. The research method used is qualitative with data collected through interviews with 6 informants who were selected using a purposive sampling technique with predetermined criteria determined by the researchers who were actually selected according to the specific characteristics possessed by the informants, namely active students. who has more than three times bought local brand shoes. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that each individual has a different way of making decisions. Buying at a lower price affects students' decision making in buying local brand shoe products so as to make positive results such as being satisfied with their choice. With this, students can still have confidence in themselves. The results of the study indicate that decision making in buying local brand shoes is influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors.
