Abstract
Economic growth is defined as the development of activities in the economy which causes the goods and services produced in the community to increase and the prosperity of the community to increase. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is an influence between local government spending, general allocation funds, and special allocation funds on economic growth in districts or cities in Central Java for the 2015–2019 period. The data analysis method used in this research is a quantitative analysis method which is analyzed using panel data analysis. Data obtained from documents belonging to the Central Statistics Agency. The number of observations used is 175. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that local government expenditures, general allocation funds, and special allocation funds have an effect on economic growth.
