Abstract
This study aims to describe the management of the Jamus Tea Garden tourism object and describe the obstacles faced in the management of the Jamus Tea Garden tourism object. This research uses a qualitative approach with andesign ethnographic. Collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants who were interviewed in this study were the managers of the Jamus tea garden tourism object, visitors, and the community around the tourism object. Based on the results of the research conducted, the results show that: (1) The management of the Jamus Tea Garden tourism object is currently quite good from the previous year with the construction of a home stay, improvements and additions to several facilities, as well as promotion through social media so that the Jamus Tea Garden tourism object is known. the wider community both from within and outside the region. (2) the obstacles faced in the management of the Jamus Tea Garden tourism object, namely: a) the lack of rules and supervision of visitors in the Jamus tea garden. b) lack of awareness of visitors to cleanliness at the Jamus Tea Garden tourism object. (c) Unsupported road access. (d) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure in the Jamus tea plantation. This study provides the main recommendations, namely the need to develop online promotional media to increase tourist visits and the need for environmental care for tourism objects so that tourists who come can enjoy their tourism activities comfortably.
