Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of firm size, profitability, liquidity, and reputation on the leverage of manufacturing companies. The method used to determine the sample is purposive sampling with the number of samples used is 252 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2019 period. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that company size and reputation have no significant effect on the leverage of manufacturing companies. While profitability, liquidity has a significant effect on the leverage of manufacturing companies.
