Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the practice of implementing motorized pawning as a guarantee for the purchase of rice (2) to describe the practice of implementing motorized pawning as a guarantee for the purchase of rice according to sharia economic law. The research method used is this research is first; empirical legal approach research, namely collecting temporary theories that are concluded from the results of field observations of phenomena that exist in reality. Second; Judging from the type of research, one of them is field research which aims to study social interactions that occur in a social unit such as groups, individuals, institutions, and communities. Third; seen from the form and type of data include primary and secondary data sources. Fourth; reviewed by conducting data collection methods, namely the observation method (observation), the interview method (interview), and the documentation method. Fifth; perform data analysis methods, namely procedures or ways to solve research problems by describing the state of the object being investigated as it is based on the actual facts in this study. 2 (1) that the practice of pawning motorbikes as a guarantee for the purchase of rice is carried out with an attitude of mutual trust, and has fulfilled the pillars and conditions of the rahn pawn contract (2) it would be nice to do this properly and correctly in accordance with Islamic law, because all transaction activities it would be better if it did not cause problems and could prosper fellow human beings.
