Abstract

The purpose of this research are to find out 1) The effect of using learning media on learning achievement in accounting theory courses at 2015 accounting education students of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta. 2) The effect of learning activity on learning achievement in accounting theory courses at 2015 accounting education students of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. 3) The effect of using learning media and learning activities on learning achievement of accounting theory courses at 2015 accounting education students of Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta. The type of associative quantitative research. The design in this research survey. The population in this study was 220 student of accounting education class of 2015. By taking sampel of 135 student. The technique used is simple random sampling. The data using questionnaire and documentation technique. The analytical technique uses multiple linear regression analysis Y= 2.097 + 0.037X1 + 0.068X2 T-test, F-test, R2-test, relative contribution and effective contribution. The results obtained 1) the use of learning media has a significant effect on learning achievement t-count of 2.097 > t-table of 1.978 and a significant value of <0.05, that is 0.038 with relative contribution of 32.48% and effective donation 15.3%. 2) learning activity has a significant effect on learning achievement, t-count is 4.096 > t-table 1.978 and a significant value of <0.05, this is 0.000 with relative contribution of 67.52% and effective donation of 31.76%. 3) the use of learning media and learning activities have a simultaneous effect on learning achievement. F-count is 58.746 > F-table is 3.06 and significant value is <0.05, which is 0.000. The result of R2 calculation is 47.1%. This means that the variables of the use learning media and learning activities have an effect of 47.1% on learning achievement, the rest 52.9% influenced by other variables.
