Abstract

Indonesia consists of 2 seasons, namely the rainy and dry seasons. One of the economic activities affected by these two seasons is the drying of crackers. So far, the drying of crackers has only relied on sunlight, so that in the rainy season the cracker drying process is often late, when conditions are cloudy or it is raining, the cracker drying process must be stopped or postponed until the sun shines again. In addition, the natural process with the help of sunlight is also susceptible to air humidity and dust, humidity will cause a relatively longer drying time, even up to 1 week. The cracker dryer in open space is also affected by dust so that the results of drying crackers are not good if a lot of dust sticks to the crackers which results in the crackers not drying optimally and being unhygienic. Designing an oven box to assist the activities of the cracker drying process, the oven boxis related to the drying process by maintaining the cleanliness and temperature in the oven box. The componentsin the oven box are a dc heater as a heater, a blower to even out the temperature in the oven box to make circulation smooth, the temperature sensor as a power breaker on this tool is also equipped with a 16x2 LCD (liquid crystal display) for monitoring the timer. This equipment is equipped with a timer to determine the drying time. , this timer is controlled remotely via the blynk application on the mobile phone. This blynk application also functions to monitor temperature. After testing, this tool can function properly. Heater can generate heat and fan can make heat circulation in the box evenly. and can dry crackers when the temperature is 400C for 90 minutes, when the temperature is 600C for 60 minutes, and when the temperature is 800C for 30minutes. When the heater is off and the temperature in the box drops by 4-50C, the heater will automatically turn on again. The higher the temperature, the faster the drying process takes place.
