Abstract

This study aims to determine the protection for consumers using BST and the obstacles in its implementation. The data analysis method uses this model qualitatively, a method that uses deductive logic, namely by drawing conclusions from a general problem to being specific or individual, arranged in words or sentences that are regular, coherent and effective to facilitate understanding of the results of data analysis. study. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that consumer protection for its users had complied with the provisions of the consumer protection law in relation to the fulfillment of consumer rights and the existence of these obstacles was not so significant that it could become an obstacle factor for the implementation of consumer protection for BST passengers in Surakarta, where the problems included the Rules which applies to both passengers and BST drivers who are still not implemented, existing infrastructure and bad habits from BST Surakarta passengers who ignore driving procedures during the Pandemic.
