Abstract

Indonesia, with its rich culture and natural resources, can take advantage of the development of the tourism industry. Tawangmangu with its geographical location, landscape, and development of the tourism industry can take advantage of great opportunities and contribute to tourism development. The purpose of this planning and design is to realize a Resort with a Wellness Tourism Approach in Karanganyar Regency by utilizing the potential of landscapes and nature-based tourism that is already available and in collaboration with the local government and surrounding communities as a form of commitment to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) while reducing social tensions. which may arise due to the exploitation of local tourism. The building in the planning and design of the Resort with the Wellness Tourism Approach in Karanganyar Regency uses contemporary architectural design because the design approach is dynamic and functional and is expected to provide comprehensive (holistic) resort services to guests. It is hoped that the Resort with the Wellness Tourism Approach in Karanganyar Regency will become an accommodation that is of interest to tourists and can mobilize the surrounding community in its tourism program (wellness program).
