Abstract

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in particular can be a tool in dealing with economic crisis. FDI can enhance Indonesia's economy and national income. The study aimed to estimate the effect of economic growth, interest rates, and tax receipts on foreign direct investment in Indonesia from 1995-2019 using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach. The results showed that tax revenues had a positive effect on foreign direct investment, while economic growth and interest rates had no effect on foreign direct investment. To increase foreign direct investment in Indonesia, it is expected that the government will develop infrastructure to support the national economy, so that in the end the economy can grow and attract foreign investors to invest in Indonesia.
