Abstract

The study in this study was conducted in Jogonalan District, Klaten Regency. Developments that occur in Jogonalan District are because this area is located between Prambanan District which has potential tourism objects and Klaten Urban as the urban center of Klaten Regency, and is flanked by Yogyakarta and Solo so that the Yogjakarta-Solo road is traversed which has the potential as an economic driver in the area being passed. This study aims to analyze the distribution of land use change in Jogonalan District, Klaten Regency in 2015 and 2020 and to analyze the main factors that influence land use change in Jogonalan District, Klaten Regency in 2015 and 2020. The method used in this research is survey. The survey was conducted for the purpose of validating the results of questionable interpretations and collecting population interview data. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. The data analysis method used is overlay and statistical analysis of frequency tables. Data analysis of land use change using qualitative methods using spatial analysis of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) overlay method on land use maps from 2015 to 2020. Factors influencing land use change using qualitative analysis methods through interviews with village officials and actors of land use change. The results of this study are the first areas that experience land use changes in Jogonalan District quite a lot, namely Somopuro Village of 11.2 Ha or 28.28%, Karang Dukuh Village of 10.82 Ha or 27.32%, Wonoboyo Village of 7 .58 Ha or 19.14%, Plawikan Village 5.07 Ha or 12.80% and Prawatan Village 4.46 Ha or 11.26%. The second result of this research, according to the interview, shows that the main factors influencing land use change are accessibility by 27.3% and the population's need for land 36.3%. Somopuro Village has experienced the most changes, this is due to the population's need for land and this area is located close to an arterial road and directly adjacent to Prambanan District so that its accessibility becomes an attraction for residents, investors and entrepreneurs.
