Abstract

The mufasir have given various kinds of interpretations about the human nature, the idioms between the mufasir are Buya Hamka. Hamka was a mufasir and scholar both in Indonesia and abroad, his work has become a reference for many poeple. The purpose of the research described about Buya Hamka interprets the human nature. The type of the research was library research with an interpretation approach. The primary source in the research was Tafsir Al Azhar by Buya Hamka capture XXI 2006 from Pustaka Panjimas. The research method used descriptive analysis method to describe, explain and analyze the interpretation of the Ar-Rum: 30 letter according to Hamka in Tafsir Al-Azhar about fitrah. Fitrah is as emphasized by Hamka in Al-Azhar's Tafsir Al-Azhar is the purity, original feeling in the soul of a person who is mixed with other influences in recognizing Allah is the lord. Basically, fitrah is always subject to the Almighty (Allah) through the religion which is prescribed for him. Fitrah is a gift from Allah, which He has given to humans since the world of womb
