Abstract

This study is an analysis of secondary data regarding the effect of the amount of coffee production, international coffee prices, exchange rates and domestic coffee consumption on the volume of coffee exports in Indonesia for the period 1995-2019. The dependent variable used in this study is the volume of coffee exports. The independent variables in this study are coffee production, international coffee prices, exchange rates and domestic coffee consumption. The method used in time series data analysis is the Error Correction Model (ECM) approach. The results show that the ECM method is valid and proven to exist and fulfills all classical assumptions. The coffee production variable was found to have a negative effect on the volume of coffee exports in Indonesia during the period 1995-2019 in the short and long term. The international coffee price variable was found to have a negative effect on the volume of coffee exports in Indonesia during the period 1995-2019 in the short and long term. The exchange rate variable (KURS) was found to have a positive effect on the volume of coffee exports in Indonesia during the period 1995-2019 in the short term, while in the long term it had no effect. The domestic coffee consumption variable was found to have no effect on the volume of coffee exports in Indonesia during the period 1995-2019 in the short and long term
