Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of democratic parenting to children's learning motivation in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 2 Plupuh. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of descriptive correlational research. The population in this study was Aisyiyah Kindergarten Bustanul Athfal 2 Plupuh amount 59 children. Researchers took samples using the slovin formula, from a population of 59 children to 37 children. The sampling technique used in this study used proportional random sampling with the results of 37 respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire and the instrument used is a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data in this researcher were analyzed using correlation analysis and to make it easier for researchers to process data using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 20 assistance program. The results showed that there was a very strong positive relationship. The results showed that there was a strong positive relationship. The calculation results obtained a correlation value of 0.724, this indicates that democratic parenting with children's learning motivation has a probability value (sig.) is 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected. From these data it can be concluded that there is a relationship between democratic parenting and children's learning motivation.
