Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation, legal services and assistance, and the obstacles to legal protection for children with disabilities as victims of criminal acts of decency through legal assistance in the legal and human rights councils of regional leaders' Aisyiyah, Central Java. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative data, the design of this research is a case study. The place of this research is Gowanan Hamlet, RT 02/ RW 01, Ngemplak Village, Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java Province. The implementation of the research starts from the preparation stage, observation, until the writing of the research report is approximately three months, from April to June 2021. The method used is interviews and documentation as well as attending workshops related to people with disabilities. The resource persons of this study were the non-litigation service division, and the education and training division and attended the workshop. The speakers were the Chairperson of the Law and Human Rights Council, the Head of the Surakarta City District Court, and the litigation service division. Types of litigation legal assistance provided by the Legal and Human Rights Council for persons with disabilities who are dealing with the law in the form of criminal, civil and state administrative penalties. Research data collection techniques by means of observation (observation), interviews (interviews), documentation and a combination of the three. The data collection technique used in this research is the interview and documentation method. Interactive model analysis. The results of this study are that every district court and high court has a legal aid post that aims to protect the law for people who can't afford it. The legal and human rights council led by the aisyiyah region is an institution to protect and enforce justice for women and children under the leadership of aisyiyah and to provide assistance and recovery for children with disabilities after crimes of decency.
