Abstract
This research aims to find out and describe about (1) the teacher's efforts in improving the quality of learning quality of grade VII students in Muhammadiyah 8 Wonogiri Junior High School, (2) the obstacles faced by teachers in improving the quality of student grade VII's moral learning in Muhammadiyah 8 Wonogiri Junior High School. This type of research uses qualitative methods based on a phenomenon and social symptoms contained in the object and observes facts based on the point of view of the subject who has been studied. The research place is in Muhammadiyah Junior High School 8 Wonogiri and the research subjects are the Principal, Akhlak Subject Teacher, and some class VII students. In data collection techniques researchers use observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data validity test uses source triangulation techniques and techniques. The results of the study concluded that the efforts that have been made by Akhlak teachers in improving the quality of Akhlak's learning are good enough. This can be proven based on the efforts made by teachers of Morals in improving the quality of learning, including: (1) efforts to prepare learning, among others, in terms of planning, process and evaluation of learning has been running effectively. (2) utilizing electronic media in the learning process. (3) build cooperation with parents of learners. (4) There is a home visit. The obstacles faced by teachers in improving the quality of Akhlak learning are limited learning facilities that are used as support for the learning process
