Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the factores that influence interest in investing on capital market. This research uses five variables that are hypothesized to affect interest in investing on capital market. The population in this study are Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta students during the 2017-2020. The sample was determined by purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 121 students. This research uses statistical analysis by regression analysis. The results in this study are investment knowledge, investment motivation, investment benefits, and pocket money had effect in interest in investing on capital market. Investment risks had no effect in interest in investing on capital market.
