Abstract
This thesis is entitled Factors Affecting the Lack of Interest of Students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion in Islamic Economics Law Study Program in Saving at Islamic Banks. The purpose of this study was to determine what factors influence the lack of student interest in saving at Islamic banks. In this study, the sample used came from the student population of the Faculty of Islamic Religion Study Program of Islamic Economics Law. The data was obtained by interviewing the students of Islamic Economic Law. This thesis uses a descriptive method with qualitative data and obtains the results of research that students' lack of interest in saving in Islamic banks occurs due to several factors such as following the wishes of parents, less interest in using Islamic banks, and the location of residence that is far from Islamic banks which makes students less interest in using Islamic banks. And promotions carried out by Islamic banks to students are less convincing and less attractive to students because of poor marketing strategies that make students not too interested in the products offered by Islamic banks.
