Abstract

PT. Prudential Pekalongan City is a branch of Prudential company which has sharia health insurance products. These benefits will be obtained if you have been able to claim Sharia health insurance. This study was conducted to find out how the practice of the mechanism for filing claims for sharia health insurance and how the review of Islamic law in the practice of the mechanism for filing claims for sharia health insurance is in accordance with sharia principles taught in Islam. In this paper, the authors use qualitative field research. (field research) that is by collecting data related to the practice of the mechanism for filing a claim for Sharia Health insurance in the place to be studied, namely PT. Prudential Insurance, Pekalongan City. In this study using interviews and documentation. The final conclusion of this research is the practice of the mechanism for filing a Sharia health insurance claim at PT. Prudential Pekalongan City is in accordance with the guidelines for the procedure for submitting an insurance claim, namely: the customer completes the claim form and file, submits the document to the insurance company PT. Prudential. perform data verification and analysis of claims and provide a decision. Meanwhile, according to Islamic law, the practice of filing a claim for Sharia health insurance at PT. Prudential is in accordance with the principles of sharia insurance, namely by applying the principles of monotheism, justice, Ta'awun, trust, prohibition of maysir.
