Abstract

This study aims to (1) examine the effect of interaction in the family on student learning outcomes, (2) examine the effect independence of student learning outcomes, (3) examine the effect of family interaction and independence on student learning outcomes in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Slogohimo. This research is a quantitative research with a survey research design. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Slogohimo, totaling 117 students. Samples were taken as many as 90 students with systematic random sampling technique. The data collection technique used was through a questionnaire. The questionnaire instrument test used validity and reliability tests which were tested on 20 students. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the regression analysis obtained the equation Y = 65.217 + 0.360 X1 + 0.228 X2. The conclusions drawn are: 1) There is an effect of interaction in the family on student learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 1 Slogohimo. The higher the interaction in the family, the more influential it will be on student learning outcomes. 2) There is an effect of independence on student learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 1 Slogohimo. The more ready to learn independently, the more influential it will be on student learning outcomes. 3) There is an effect of interaction in the family and independence on student learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 1 Slogohimo. The higher the interaction in the family and independence, the more influential on student learning outcomes. In accordance with Hidayat's research (2014), says that there is a direct influence of learning independence on learning outcomes and there is a direct influence of the family environment on learning outcomes. To improve maximum learning outcomes, the interaction in the family and also the independence of students must be increased.
