Abstract

BP4 as a professional socio-religious organization as a partner of the Ministry of Religion in realizing sakinah, mawadah, warahmah families. This study aims to determine the percentage of peace in divorce cases in the Surakarta Religious Court and the Sukoharjo Religious Court? (2) To know the role of the Marriage Preservation Advisory Board (BP4) at the KUA or DepAg in the mediation process to reduce the divorce rate? This research is a legal research conducted with an empirical juridical approach. The type of study in this study is more descriptive in nature, because it intends to clearly describe various things related to the object under study. related to the Percentage of Peace in Divorce Cases in the Surakarta Religious Court and the Sukoharjo Religious Court, at the Sukoharjo anda Surakarta Court Cases in 2018, 2019, 2020 is 0%.The Role of the Marriage Preservation Advisory Board (BP4) at the KUA or the Ministry of Religion in the Mediation Process to Reduce the Divorce Rate, namely enhancing the quality of marriage and realizing prosperous and happy households according to Islamic demands and teachings, steps to that end are actions taken by BP4, namely improving the quality of consultation advocacy, mediation and marriage, improving services to families who have problems through advocacy, mediation and counseling and optimizing BP4 human resources.
