Abstract

Cases of DHF in Indonesia are always on the rise and are one of the public health problems in Indonesia that have not been addressed. Based on patient data and larva-free figures from Public Health Center Boyolali II increased in 2019. This study aims to find out the relationship of larva-free numbers with the incidence of dengue fever in Public Health Center Boyolali II Boyolali Subdistrict in Boyolali District in 2019. This research is observational analytics using case control study design. Sampling techniques in this study used total sampling techniques for case samples and simple random sampling techniques for control samples with a total sample count of 185. This study showed that there is no link between flick-free numbers and the incidence of dengue fever (DBD). Chi square test result, obtained value p = 0.252 greater than 0.05. There is no significant relationship between flick-free figures and the incidence of dengue fever in the working area of Public Health Center Boyolali II in 2019. This is due to the high public awareness to eradicate mosquito nests in the surrounding environment.
