Abstract

Distance learning is a learning system without face to face directly between teachers and students or online learning. At Senior High School Negeri 5 Surakarta, teachers apply Microsoft Teams media as a learning method for Islamic religious education subjects. By using these method, teachers can ensure that students take part in learning at the same time, although in different places. The researcher uses a type of field research (Field Research) and the approach used in this thesis is a descriptive qualitative approach. The object of the research is at Senior High School Negeri 5 Surakarta, the subjects in this study are teachers of Islamic religious education subjects and students. While the data collection techniques using, interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis method that the researcher uses to analyze the data is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To test the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation technique. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Distance learning planning at Senior High School Negeri 5 Surakarta using the Microsof Teams application in accordance with the distance learning implementation plan according to the government's recommendation. 2) The implementation of distance learning through Microsoft Teams is carried out by dividing the class into 68 sections, according to the learning activities in clas schedule and predetermined steps. Material reinforcement is provided through assignments via Microsoft Teams from supprot sistems via WhatsApp groups. 3) The learning evaluation carried out refers to three aspects, namely the knowledge aspect, the skill aspect, and also the attitude aspect.
