Abstract

This study aims to analyze parents' understanding of online learning and the factors that can influence the role of parents in guiding children's online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was conducted at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Banyuurip, Ngawi. The number of samples in this study were 11 people consisting of the principal and the child's parents. Data analysis using Analysis Interactive. The results of this study indicate that parents understand. Parents always direct, accompany their children to learn online and do not allow their children to study alone. Factors that influence parents in guiding children's online learning include: Parent's educational background, economic level, friends and number of family members, child's mood, and cell phone signal or network.
