Abstract
In the Regulation of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia Number 000912 of 2013 concerning the 2013 Madrasah Curriculum for Islamic Education Subjects and Arabic. the characteristics of Islamic religious education teaching about policies in mastering the faith and Islamic beliefs. With this, it is hoped that strong beliefs will be created and can maintain faith and belief in upholding Islamic values. This study aims to describe the method of Islamic religious education teachers in the formation of mahmudah morality in students of MTs Negeri 3 Karanganyar. The type of research conducted by the author is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of his research were teachers and students. Data collection techniques used by researchers are observations, interviews and documentation. The data was analyzed using Hilles and Huberman models by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the methods used in the formation of mahmudah morals are the ta'widiyah method, the uswah method, the mau'izah method, and the reward and sanction method. This study also explains about the supporting factors and inhibiting factors, the supporting factors are from the school environment, family and facilities, for the inhibiting factors can be from community environmental factors, environmental factors of friendship, family and also association. At MTs Negeri 3 Karanganyar educating students in discipline and order with rules, especially those related to morals.
