Abstract

Bekasi City is a metropolitan city with a fairly high level of mobility. This affects the high settlement in Bekasi City. The increasing need for settlements will have an impact on the existence of green open spaces. One of the ways to optimize land function and green open space needs is the design of city park green open space. With the policy direction with the addition and maintenance of city parks with certain theme nuances (thematic: Bekasi culture, patriotic, creative, etc.), this is the background for the final project in designing green open space with a creative-educational theme. The use of creative-educational themes is motivated by the lack of open space that can accommodate individual interaction activities in the outer space. So that often school activities such as educational tour visits are carried out in areas outside the city. In addition, the development of creative educational themes is used to provide a forum for the community to develop creativity and insight. Padurenan Creative-Educative Park is a green open public space that can accommodate activities that can be creative and educational that can be used publicly and openly. Padurenan Creative-Educative Park Design Concept by optimizing green open space in the park and providing facilities that can accommodate creative and educational activities both indoors and outdoors.
