Abstract

Rehabilitation is an action that aims to provide relief for addicts and narcotics abuse. This is in line with the provision and implementation of human rights for them. Besides being able to reduce the burden of prisons in handling drug addicts and abusers, rehabilitation is also carried out so that the goal of punishment is fully achieved. There are many processes and stages that will be carried out by those who choose to carry out rehabilitation through a petition or through a court judge's decision. The establishment of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in the implementation of rehabilitation can also make rehabilitation actions not violate human rights. What currently needs to be done is to maintain justice through punishment and also rehabilitation for addicts and abusers. Because in fact they are human beings who must be healed.
