Abstract
There are so many government regulations that want to provide welfare to the community in reducing and overcoming the problem of unemployment which is increasing day by day, increasing an economic value. The role of the government, in this case the Manpower Office (Disnaker) especially in the Grobogan area, requires the settlement of industrial relations disputes. through mediation. In the case of workers and employers entering into an employment relationship through the making of an employment agreement. Over the past year, the share of informal workers decreased by 11.66 percentage points compared to the situation in August 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the duties and functions as well as the policies of the Manpower Office of Grobogan Regency in dealing with labor problems in the Grobogan area. The type of research in this research is empirical law type with the nature of research that is descriptive analytic which has an effort to describe the events and events that become their focus, without giving special treatment to events, especially to confirm other hypotheses in order to strengthen old theories or within the framework of developing new theories. Two sources of data used in this study are primary data sources obtained through interviews and secondary data sources obtained through library materials. The results of this study are that the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Grobogan Regency has carried out its duties and functions in supporting regional autonomy, among others, by dealing with labor problems in Grobogan Regency.
