Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic causes aspects of life to be affected, including education. Circular Letter No. 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policy in the Emergency Period of The Spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19), where learning activities during the pandemic are conducted online (online) or known as online learning. The implementation of online learning has advantages and disadvantages. This study aims to measure the level of mental load and fatigue level of students while doing lectures online as well as to know the relationship between mental load levels and fatigue levels. The methods used in this study are nasa Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) and Sweddish Occupational Fatigue Inventory (SOFI). The results showed that students' mental load levels were at a high classification with NASA-TLX dimensions of temporal demand, mental demand, effort and performance. Student fatigue levels are in moderate classification with sofi dimensions of drowsiness, lack of energy and lack of motivation. And the correlation test results showed a link between mental load and student fatigue with a positive relationship direction. Keywords : NASA-TLX, SOFI, Online Learning, Mental Workload
