Abstract
Employment developing is carried out in order to increase the dignity, dignity and self-esteem of the workforce and to create a prosperous, just, prosperous and equitable society, both materially and spiritually. In the acceptance of workers by a company used an agreement called a work agreement. In practice and development, agreements are not made using standard agreements, so that it can create an imbalance for the parties in determining the contents of the agreement. This study aims to determine whether the work agreement that has been running so far, especially at the Awann Sewu Hotel Semarang, has fulfilled the rights of workers or not which has been regulated in the legislation. The research method that the writer uses is descriptive research with a normative approach. The results showed that the work agreement of the employees of the Awann Sewu Hotel Semarang was in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, namely there were rights and obligations of each party, did not violate the provisions and was carried out by a competent party. However, the form of the agreement is not in accordance with the legislation. The work agreement of the Awann Sewu Hotel Semarang employees is in the form of a time work agreement where the work as carried out by the Awann Sewu Hotel Semarang employees in the agreement is a job that is not included in the job criteria for a certain time.
