Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect: (1) religious education in the family on the moral formation of students at SDN Pacitan (2) religious education in the family on the discipline of students at SDN Pacitan. The research method used is included in the type of descriptive quantitative research. The population includes all students in grades IV and V as many as 178 students. The sample in this study was taken as many as 64 students with a sample technique of proportionate stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Before analyzing the data, the instrument was tested with validity and reliability tests. Then the prerequisite test was carried out with the normality test and linearity test. Furthermore, data analysis using simple linear regression and t test. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that (1) religious education in the family has a significant and positive effect on students' moral formation (2) religious education in the family has a significant and positive effect on student discipline
