Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic is an outbreak of a virus called COVID-19 (Coronavirus Diseases-19). The COVID-19 pandemic is a global health threat with confirmed cases and high mortality rates. The COVID-19 pandemic does not only affect the health aspect, but also affects the economy, transportation, agriculture and education sectors. In this regard, the Ministry of Education and Culture took a firm stance through a circular letter regarding education policies in the emergency period of the spread of Covid-19, namely the implementation of SFH (school from home). Laptops are one of the technologies that are widely used for the implementation of SFH. Activities in front of a laptop are often carried out in non-ergonomic and repetitive postures so that they can potentially lead to fatigue and health problems such as musculoskeletal injuries, namely discomfort in skeletal muscles ranging from mild to severe complaints. Nordic Body Map is used to show pain disorders or pain felt in a part of the body. Analysis of work posture with a laptop during SFH was carried out using the QEC (Quick Exposure Check) method, the results obtained from 88 samples of respondents as many as 77% of respondents obtained action level 3 which means that the work posture is not ergonomic with actions that need further research and changes, so it needs to be done improvement of work attitude and posture with laptop when school from home. The proposed improvement is in the form of suggested actions, namely the Computer Workstation Ergonomics: Self-Assessment Checklist questionnaire to help arrange a comfortable workplace and optimal performance according to actual conditions and the Ergonomics Learning From Home guide by the Indonesian Ergonomics Association (PEI). Another improvement proposal is to provide an ergonomic laptop table design proposal that is in accordance with the anthropometric data of the Indonesian people's body.
