Abstract
This study aims to describe the structure and values of character education contained in the novel 3 Srikandi, as well as its relevance in learning literature in high school. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data of this research are in the form of words, sentences, quotes in the novel. Data collection techniques used listening techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique in this study used interactive analysis methods. The result of this research is the theme contained in the novel 3 Srikandi, namely the spirit of struggle in achieving goals. The plot in the novel 3 Srikandi is a forward plot. The main characters are Nurfitriyana Saiman, the subordinate characters are Kusuma Wardhani, Lilis Handayani, and Donald Pandiangan. The setting is in Jakarta, Sukabumi, and Seoul. The time setting is in 1980 and 1987. Finally, the social setting is the relationship between behavior and living conditions experienced by the characters of the novel 3 Srikandi. There are 13 values of character education in this study 1) religious, 2) honest, 3) tolerance, 4) discipline, 5) hard work, 6) curiosity, 7) the spirit of nationalism, 8) love for the homeland, 9) respect achievement, 10) friendship, 11) love for the homeland, 12) love to read, 13) social care. This research is relevant as teaching material in SMA class XI at KD 3.11. Analyzing the message of a fiction book that is read.
