Abstract
Inflation is a process of increasing prices in general and continuously, if the price of goods and services in the country increases, then inflation will increase. The purpose of this study itself is to determine and analyze the effect of World Oil Prices, Exchange Rates, Total Money Supply (JUB) and Foreign Debt on the level of inflation in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data with a time series for the period 2001-2019. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression or Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The results showed that the World Oil Price and Exchange Rate variabels had a positive effect. variabel Amount of Money Supply has a negative effect. Meanwhile, the Foreign Debt variabel has no effect on Inflation in Indonesia in 2001-2019. Based on the coefficient of determination test (R2), the variabels of World Oil Price, Exchange Rate, Money Supply and Foreign Debt are able to explain the variation of their influence on inflation and the rest is explained by other variabels outside the research model. The government is expected to always be able to coordinate with the Central Bank related to reducing the money supply. The government is expected to control the inflation rate by implementing policies that can affect inflation, such as interest rates, the US dollar exchange rate and the money supply. Keywords: Inflation, World Oil Price, Exchange Rate, Money Supply (JUB), Foreign Debt and OLS
