Abstract
Toddler is a critical period, at that age children need complete and balanced nutritional support both in quantity (portion) and nutritional content for the growth and development of their bodies and brains. The pandemic has had a social and economic impact. Many parents are worried about going out of the house, and preparing the right food menu for toddlers, choosing foods that increase toddler immunity and what eating patterns should be practiced. Mothers must ensure that they get a variety of balanced nutrients for optimal growth and development. The following research aims to determine the description of the preparation of food menus for toddler age children during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive research design. The population in this study were mothers who had toddlers in Jatikuwung Village, amounting to 85 people. This study uses a total sampling technique of sampling. The sample size in this study were 85 mothers who met the criteria. The measurement uses a knowledge questionnaire with 30 questions and a behavior questionnaire with 20 questions. The results showed that most of the mother's knowledge was good, 80 respondents (94.1%), sufficient knowledge was 5 respondents (5.9%). Most of the mother's behavior is sufficient with a number of 66 respondents (77.6%), and good behavior of 19 respondents (22.4%). The conclusion of this study is that most of the respondents have good knowledge, while the behavior of most of the respondents is sufficient. In theory, the level of knowledge will be directly proportional to individual behavior. However, in the following study, only 19 respondents (22.4%).
