Abstract

The reach of the Puskesmas is related to the number of annual visitors and the handling of the spread of COVID-19. The objectives of the study include (1) to examine the reach of puskesmas services in Juwiring sub-district, Klaten district, (2) to examine the spread and handling of Covid-19 in Juwiring sub-district, Klaten district. The research method used is a survey with a sampling method carried out using secondary data collection or what is often referred to as the document use method. As for how to obtain data using observations to research sites and conducting interviews with Puskesmas staff as well as with documents and archives to support research results. The approach used is a spatial approach related to human activity in a space in terms of its distribution. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis by describing and describing the collected data. Data sampling was carried out on December 11, 2020. The highest visits were in the area closest to the Puskesmas location, namely Tanjung Village with 2839 visits with a percentage of 11% and the lowest number of Puskesmas visitors came from Pundungan Village with 475 visits, Jaten with 459 people, and Trasan amounted to 439 people with a percentage of 2% in the three villages. There were a total of 48 positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Juwiring District and almost all of the villages in Juwiring District. It can be seen that Juwiring Village has the highest Covid-19 spread cases, there are 14 positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 and there is 1 fatality, and the second Village which has a high rate of Covid-19 spread is in Pundungan Village with 8 positive confirmed cases and there was 1 fatality. And there are only 4 villages that have 0 (zero) positive cases of Covid-19.
