Abstract
Main pump excavator is a main component that serves to convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy and then channeled into the hydraulic system. This analysis aims to find out how the main pump works, analyze the damage and the causative factors, make repair steps and recommend measures to prevent damage to the main pump. The examination procedure is done by performing a performance test, namely operating test. Furthermore, the analysis of performance test results, visual analysis of the inner part that has been damaged. As well as analysis of the cause of inner part damage is done after assembling.The results of the analysis there is damage to the inner main pump caused by contamination of hydraulic oil by water. Repair steps must be performed replacement of damaged inner main pump components. Preventive measures are taken by preventing the occurrence of external leakage, as well as carrying out daily checks and prenventive manitenance according to procedures.The results of calculation analysis on hydraulic cylinder arm system such as closed cylinder arm flow analysis of 21.10 L/min, open cylinder arm flow capacity of 329.19 L/min.
