Abstract

This research aim to describe the process and impact of the village’s allocation of funds on development in Trotok Village, Wedi District, Klaten Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subject is the village headman, the village secretary, the village treasurer, the development program coordinator, the stakeholder, and the society that’s under development. Validity is made by using technical triangulation (data collection methods) and triangulation of data sources. The data analysis used is the interactive model analysis. Indicators of village’s allocation of funds on development and their impact on the communities including: (1) The village’s allocation of funds in development planning, (2) The village’s allocation of funds in the implementation of the development program, (3) The impact of the implementation of the development program on communities. The results of this study indicate that the village’s allocation of funds on development is quite effective. It is proven by a well-run development program, the management of village’s allocation of funds that have been consistent with the headman’s vision and mission. The public believes that village development has been carried out according to the rules, and there is a development Activity Implementation Team (TPK), making the development program run smoothly. The implementation of the development program in Trotok Village had gone well and had positive impact on communities, while the impact of the implementation of the development program is the raising society’s capacity, better community service facilities to prosperous communities, the accomplishment of village programs, and improvement of the village economy
